This morning I read a bit more of the PHP Master Sitepoint book.
Later in the afternoon I found this website: The Sochi Project, and spent most of the rest of the day reading that. It is about Sochi, and how the Winter Olympics to be held there in 2014 are affecting it. But more than that, it is about what life in Sochi and villages throughout the North Caucasus is like. Good writing and photos, with a few videos as well.
The site contains a lot of content, so you have to consider it like getting a book out of the library. It looks like they are making a book as well, but it is very expensive - about 60 euros.
